Figured it out. It was because I had the printer set to print to file.

I used to have a little button in the upper right hand side of this box to update the media and size. Now it's magically gone....now there is no auto detection of the size of the media. Very odd...anyone else have this issue? Using Onyx 19.0.3

What type of material and what's thickness of the material you're trying to cut? It may be that you need to get the thick material holder and blade, but it all depends on the material you're trying to cut.

I've managed to figure out getting to cut from the marks. I needed to have Onyx cut server set to "4 Marks" the other two options it would just hang on processing and do nothing. Now I cannot get barcodes to read. Just from a sheet right now, I can get it to scan, it says it's doing the Data...

Just got my FC9000 and i had successfully did a print and cut test. I've updated to latest firmware and Onyx is up to date as well. I'm cutting through Onyx cut server to do my cutting. I was able to hit the "Cut Now" in onyx cut server and it scanned and cut the other day, today it won't do...

Been trying this out. It's nice. I don't get curling like I do with other metallic vinyls. But with it being 6mil adding a a 3mil laminate makes it incredibly thick and doing a full die cut sticker, which people want, is hard to cut, I'm guessing it's probably about 15mil with the backing paper...

Question....Are your cuts stacked in illustrator or however you're making them. Do you make the first cut layer, then dupliacate it and just assign another spot color for the next one?

It would be either Eco Sol or Eco Sol Max. When you power it on it will say on the LCD for a moment, otherwise you can go into your ink control in the menu settings to find out.

It's the same. The second one if for ordering from the USA or Canada it says in their FAQ. They make good blades and I've had luck with them, but I've had more success and longevity with the OEM summa blades from my experience.

The head won't read past the two outermost rollers, so if those rollers are inside of the OPOS registration marks you'll get that error. Also could use the entended load feature, but I haven't used that before.

I use ONYX and barcodes daily. It doesn't matter which way it goes in when doing barcodes. I've put them in from both sides and it's cut fine both ways.
