Take out the hard drive (if its not the harddrive that failed) and install in your new computer, or get whatever the problem is with your computer fixed. Every single component in your PC is replaceable. You'll only lose data if it is the hardrive that failed and you do not have a backup
I think most printers , from low end to high end will not "fast forward" like you want. Some won't scan/move the printhead speeding things up a but the media will still advance step by step.
I think the printer is pretty good at sitting, I've had mine down for 14 days down for repairs (it was not running automatic cleanings or mixing ink for those 2 weeks) and it printed perfect after repairs were finished. Also had a week or so without power here in TX. again fired up and printed...
Another advantage of moving up to the next level of printers is ink cost. Epson with bulk in and Colorado M5 will be significantly cheaper ink per sq ft than roland. My ink cost just about got cut in half when I switched from Roland to Colorado and the savings on ink pay for the Colorado. Bulk...
I had 5 Rolands at one point and changed them out for a Colorado and Epson Resin. The Colorado alone is about is faster than the 5 Rolands were and it is much easier to run 1 printer vs 5. (Rolands could do a 60" x 150ft roll in 6+hrs each), on the Colorado I can do a roll in a little over an...
I looked around a bit for BOPP but there wouldn't be any advantage at the quantities I'm doing. I'm sure at massive quantities BOPP would be cheaper than vinyl (but also less durable)
Can run just about any cutter/printer combo.
VersaWorks is very good but can only run Roland equipment.
Get whatever flatbed printer you are looking at and use the recommended/bundled rip for the flatbed and then decide if you want to switch all the printers to that RIP. No need to make the...
Hp 2024 revenue $53.6 billion
Grimco revenue from what I could find $241.8 Million but might not be accurate since private company
I remember seeing on GSGs website saying $500+ million revenue
HP could probably buy both cash
It's a collaboration color with ltt, I'm sure they'll sell alot but considering how many phone cases you'll get out of one roll it is probably no where near enough to make a custom vinyl color vs printing.
I don't think the thick ink would cause any kiss cutting problems, negligible compared...
I would guess that their average product run is pretty small, Thousands of designs x hundreds of devices = a ton of inventory. I wouldn't be surprised if some stuff is printed/cut to order
I bet they're hating that LTT orange color requiring the more complicated manufacturing process. Print on Epson, laminate, print on Colorado vs just doing 1 pass on the Colorado like I guess they do on most color schemes that can be printed withe CMYK only
