1. personal preference. I like the way corel handles defaults. If I draw a shape it has no fill, give it a fill and draw another shape it still should have no fill by default. I didn't ask for any attributes from any other source.
If needed, in corel, I can right click and drag one shape...
If I draw a rectangle the default should be no fill with a black stroke. Why after filling the rectangle I go to draw another and it is now filled with the last colors used?
When a shape is filled and selected how can I see the exact color formula without clicking somewhere else?
Is it possible...
I'm confused, title reads "How to cut a circle on vinyl 50" in diameter" but the quotes above contradict. 50", 40" or 54"?
What size roll is your plotter capable of running?
Police cars, if black, are usually black reflective RTA vinyl. On a black trailer that doesn't need/want reflective then you just print a slightly lighter shade of black with a matte laminate. Might do some swatches to get the desired effect.
Could have easily been me back in the day. I was in charge of the 33d Fighter Wing Graphics shop at Eglin AFB, FL when I retired in 2004. They shut down the shop about 2 years after USAF phased out the Visual Information career field.
I get a lot of 3rd party files that use overprint fills. Luckily I can use my macro in CorelDRAW to remove all overprints. But I question are they really necessary?
Somebody enlighten me.
Uh...they just sent a new version of their logo and you'll never guess! Color values are more off than before. Now their eps file reads Pantone 144 C, C11 M55 Y100 K1, Hex #DE8703. I told 'em we'll use the cmyk values and you get what you get. lol
Also sent them a snip from their own guidelines...
