To be fair, corel, doesn't have this capability either, that's why I created macros to do it. A lot easier to run corel macros than illustrator scripts.
A good example would be if each of the shapes were text headings and you wanted to ensure they're equally/evenly spaced on the sign blank. You wouldn't want the text to align butt up against the left or right side.
I must be missing a step, I can only get to to distribute to the edges to either the artboard not "within the artboard" or distribute equally between the selection.
In Corel under View it's called "wireframe", nothing about outline. In illustrator under View it's called "Outline".
In Flexi, under View it's called "Show Fills". And, yes, it works as I believe it should. Allows you to see through text and shapes.
Here's another case where it would be beneficial. Cut this font in vinyl.
