  1. Question OCE Arizona 250gt Size hack

Playing with the system register could be tricky. Do you have the SDS key to enter the service menu?
  2. Question OCE Arizona 250gt Size hack

You can't make the machine printing outside its mechanical range of movement - you may gain 5 mm maybe, but not 20 cm. If you want to print longer/wider boards, you need to move the substrate and split the whole job into two parts. Arizona 250 and 350 has exactly the same table dimensions (when...
  3. Question Acuity HS

When the meniscus vacuum was calibrated recently? With the gauge, not just by looking at the value on the screen?
  4. Question Acuity HS

What kind of substrate you are printing on? Are all colours leaking? Do you have an antistatic bar installed and working?
  5. Arizona 550GT / Acuity HS Printhead alignment.

I know that some kind of a tool to position the head in the holder was available on the market, but I'm not sure if it was for the HS heads. For sure it was for the old Arizona 250 heads. There's no official procedure for positioning the head in the holder, as the Oce supplies heads in holders only.
  6. Suggestions OCE Arizona 1280XT

Small mistake - when the printer is left idle overnight with ink temperature on, after certain time heating is switched off automatically, so inks are cooling, but it's possible to set the time when the heating will be switched on again (i.e. in the morning, before the beginning of the shift).
  7. Need Help OCE 1280XT

First of all - what is the vacuum pressure value (given on the console screen on the ink management tab)? Are there any errors listed (or simply message 'vacuum system problem')?
  8. Need Help Oce Arizona 660XT Ink Heat System Problem

Gareth, so you need an engineer with the SDS key to check the ink heating system.
  9. Need Help Oce Arizona 660XT Ink Heat System Problem

On April 28th there was an error 'Ink temperature far below the setpoint'. Almost immediately errors 'Ink heater not heating' appeared with the decreasing value of the temperature. Now the temperature is around 19-20 Celsius degrees (I suppose it's the room temperature). It's still possible...
  10. Need Help Oce Arizona 660XT Ink Heat System Problem

It may be related to a few problems: - the thermistor in any of the heads may be switched off (it happens sometimes) - lack of electric contact in any of the head - broken one of the two coolant pumps (one supplies coolant to the carriage, the second one circulates the coolant) - broken coolant...
  11. Need Help Jetrix 1212fk

Jetrix has three distributors in the USA - Ohio, New Jersey and Idaho. Try to ask them maybe?
  12. Procedures for extended down time

It depends on the machine, as you wrote, but for example flatbeds from OCE/Fuji may stay powered for a long time without switching off. Special procedures are required when the machine should be switched off for a long time (more than two weeks).
  13. Arizona 550GT / Acuity HS Printhead alignment.

First of all - what was done with the heads before the installation? How the holder was positioned? That may affect quality. Second - shim installation is obligatory, even if the printer has no shims installed. After shimming (even one head) "carriage angular" calibration shouldn't be done...
  14. Oce Arizona Printhead Temperature over 200 celcius

It's possible that it's only the slanted flat cable between the head and the board. Or maybe there's lack of contact on the cable. I've seen such high temperatures when was only a small problem with the flat cable - it's worth to try it (maybe the technician check it already?). It's not possible...
  15. Oce/Fuji tech hack?

As I know, it's possible to switch off the whole head (one line of the nozzles) - each one is treated as a separate head. It's possible to set the head voltage to 0 (remember to write the proper value of the voltage somewhere to set it back when required) - it won't print anything. But I'm not...
  16. Suggestions OCE Arizona 1280XT

The procedure says, that you have to switch off the lamps, table vacuum and ink heating. That's all for the weekend (and of course overnight).
  17. Need Help Which large format UV Flatbed for preprinted thermoforming, please?

Ask your local Fujifilm distributor about the flatbed with KV inks. They are designed for vacuum forming (elongation up to 1000%, perfect 90 degrees angle).
  18. Arizona 360xt doesn't start

The ATX power supply is powered from the AC breakout board located in the electric box (near the main switch). There is a separate fuse for this line, it's F4 (4 amps). Maybe it's only the fuse (but question would be, why it's broken...). Of course, it may be also related with the breakout board...
  19. Arizona 360xt doesn't start

Check, if the LED diodes on the computer motherboard and mainboard are on when you switch the printer on. If not, check the power supplies.
  20. Arizona printhead bad??

If you have the degas modules installed in your printer, check all connections and the modules itself - there may be a leak somewhere or the module is damaged internally and air may not be removed from the ink.
