  3. the mysterious black box

I couldn't replicate myself. What flexi and os are you on, what mail client, what image format? When you paste into an email is it putting it in the message or adding it as an attachment?

I scanned through the tech pdf on your site, how many coats do you usually do (I know its says 2 recommended, but do you do more than 2 sometimes?) for carved or blasted areas with texture (wood grain) how are you applying? If you spray, what is the equipment set up? Seams like a long time...

  9. Ideal portable table to take on install sites.

Depending on the job, a bakers scaffold is both useful as a table and work platform, not nearly as portable as a folding table though.

I usually get 3M when it's on sale at Sherwin Williams, bought some orange high tack a while ago for working on a car with ceramic coating and it is heavy duty and sticks well for several applications where blue tape falls short. I will have to try some from the body supply shops.

  13. How to create signtray using flexi enroute

I agree, it has severely fallen behind vcarve, I bought my router used with an old en route 5.2 license and dongle and use it for now until I can justify building vcarve pro into a few carved projects. This is what I do: 1) start with the face (rectangle), this will be an engrave toolpath (or...
  14. Remote Project Manager at your Service

I apologize for adding to the off-topic replies, and don't intend to come off as nosy or rude. Are you the owner of the shop you mention or the manager? I assumed "took over" meant that you purchased and were/are the owner of but reading through again it sounds like you are a manager looking for...
  15. How to create signtray using flexi enroute

You can use any software you want to draw it, or just draw it directly in en route. I usually draw in flexi and save as dxf file then import into en route and assign toolpaths.
  16. How to create signtray using flexi enroute

What material are you planning to use? It's pretty simple really, depending on your setup the hardest part is getting your hold down and spoilboard sorted so you can get a consistent depth of cut. Then it's just a V bit and draw a few boxes. Here is a good reference of how they are typically...
  17. Client Application Form

Michael Janda has some good free resources for stuff like this, all his stuff is geared toward design services but translates well for the most part. He is big on deciding if the client is going to be beneficial to work with before ever developing a relationship.
  18. Costing Spreadsheet

Actually, I did a quick proof of concept based on your request. It needs a lot more polishing and there are some weird excel syntax things with spaces so I just added an underscore. Anyone with a decent coding background (not me) could probably fix it up in a hurry. I just followed the concept...
