I did some blackout windows/doors about a year ago that face the sun, I read those same threads and told the customer windows could break/crack. They accepted the risk and I did the job, black vinyl on the inside of double pane glass. Gets extremely hot in the sun but hasn't cracked/broken
I guess I'm just in a competitive area and use online retail prices as benchmarks, I have 20+ sign shops within a 5 mile drive of me, on my 5 minute drive to my shop I drive past 3 other sign shops
There are 30+ fastsigns within a 30 minute drive of me.
Why do you need acid resistant? If their battery leaks then they have bigger problems than a ruined sticker or maybe they'll be happy the brand name label is corroded off.
Any high tack vinyl should work
I have couple of big banners (5ft x 40ft) printed almost 2 years ago on the Colorado, screwed to a building in full Texas sun and they look new still, 0 fading.
and most memorable thing was the 40ft banner taking 15 minutes to print
