We do ours with graphics out with a taped hem and graphics in with a sewn hem. Either way - they always get wrapped with paper and sealed with a company decal and a printout of the banner is taped to the paper with the specs on it.

Not necessarily so... depends on type of router. Graphics routers with vision systems use those file types - but woodworking routers use .dxf or .dwg files.
You need to ask the router guy what to provide.

If you are planning on running them through an inkjet printer - you will not be happy with standard paper company crack & peel. It doesn't have an inkjet receptive coating. It is made for offset ink or digital press toner.
