  1. font help please

I actually used a Pullmax three wheel angle bender back in the late 1980's. Took some learning but what a neat tool.
  2. Adobe CC pantone colors

Sounds a lot more difficult than mixing One Shot a drop at a time.
  3. Challenges and being grateful

The spelling is too good for drunk typing or rage typing. The command of the English language though suggests a Russian bot sent here to divide the sign community. Or is the new AI I keep hearing about?
  4. RIP

Really enjoyed his down to earth, common man approach to signmaking and his ability to convey that via the written word.
  5. Home Depot called....

    Relax Fit
  6. Upselling quotes (good/better/best)

It's obvious everybody owns a printer and no one is a salesman. Give them want you tell them to want, at your price. Or, let'em go to cheap signs are us.
  7. Installing a 4x6ft wood sign

If the sign is semi-temporary, (real estate, etc.) 4"x 4" posts are sufficient. If this is a permanent sign, I would recommend 6"x 6" posts. I can buy only two kinds of pressure treated lumber in my area: straight and still wet, or dry and warped, twisted or bowed. I'm assuming this 4'x 6' will...
  8. Cabinet Sign Hardware Question

I would use cardboard to get end radius and simple height & width for pattern. Trim cap on acrylic is a tried and true method that's been used for channel letters for at least my 35 years of making signs. Noticed the face appears to be at least 10', if not 12' long. You should be able to find 4'...
  9. Need Help Wrapping with Banner material

    How big is this tower?
  10. Design ideas Help

Also consider for that many channel letters you would have 40 holes for electrical and around 150 to mount the letters. Damn, that's a lot of silicone and lot of places to leak.
  11. Design ideas Help

That is a bad design. Awful. Are those green strips really long straight fairways or where the wheat is supposed to grow? Go buy Mike Stevens book Mastering Layout and loan it to whoever drew this, or better yet gift it to them.
  12. This group gets it.

    Funny!
  13. Voting

I got a sticker, but wasn't ask to bid on providing stickers for my county. What a travesty, lol
  14. Inflation Versus Interest Rates

I give Loretta Lynn the credit. If you've got two siblings instead of seven. Thank, or blame the Queen of Country.
  15. Giant standing letters

Haven't you ever supervised a high school homecoming float. Styrofoam from Home Depot or Lowes and latex paint. Quarter inch rebar stuck in holes in a 2"x 6" for vertical supports.
  16. Discussion Slowing down or staying busy?

I'm a real small outfit and I don't advertise. When I start a project I send a short cut of the customers folder to my desktop. 12-15 at any given time keeps me busy. There are currently 40 shortcuts. I think I just need to delete some shortcuts and hope they don't notice. A lot of my repeat...
  17. Inflation Versus Interest Rates

Okay dypinc, I'm intrigued, tell me more about'Totalitarian Socialist Dictatorships' and how history 'Proves it'.
