depending on what material size you are using 1 sign will use the same amount of material as 2 signs if you are using 54" material, maybe software is accounting for that ?

What country are you in? in USA we get no warranty on heads at all. I did some digging on Canon's website and looks like USA and a couple other countries do not get any warranty on the heads but the rest of the world does

So maybe all of your heads getting replaced is due to the 250k life canon says the heads have?
