  1. How long would it take you to CNC this?

Laser cutting would be less stress-inducing. JB
  2. Not accurate cut with Gerber Edge and Gsx Plus Plotter

You don't specify which direction these were run through the plotter and that would give us a better clue. Check the two socket head cap screws on the split collar clamp that secures the drum shaft. Sometimes those loosen and allow a bit of play. JB
  3. Am I the crazy one?

Not to be snarky, but did you make any money?(before you had to ship it twice) There's got to be an easier way to make $20.00 Just sayin' JB
  4. Signlab 10

I've wondered the same... Ditto...other than the 64 bit...no new bells and whistles...just a re-package with a few new icons and a new release number. Probably my biggest issue. You can surely bet there will be nothing significant improved while the MSRP continues its freefall. JB
  5. Questions about selling Software

So far, I've had good success with SignLab and Gerber Omega being allowed to be transferred. Check the EULA (End User License Agreement) that comes with Flexi to see what terms they have concerning license transferability. JB
  6. Questions about selling Software

Ditto...if you can sell it here on S101, do that instead. I've sold Gerber and SignLab software through the S101 classifieds and it worked well for me. Obviously, Fred can't police every sale nor can the forum offer seller / buyer conflict resolution. But overall the people here are fair and...
  7. Questions about selling Software

Sell it on eBay and state your terms clearly (refunds/ no refunds, etc...) and make sure your product description is accurate. Include plenty of photos showing OEM disk(s) and dongle. Make sure Flexi will allow you to transfer your license. Yes, ship it insured and require a signature. JB
  8. Imageclub10!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Ditto...
  9. No longer offering Font finds

Is it myront or MyRant? Ok...so I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt due to a possible snafu with your autocorrect. I'm sure you meant to say no more fault finding, right? JB
  10. Hartco Sandblast Stencil

Ditto on using Anchor. Ditto on having Hartco drop shipped. Ditto on the sad news of not getting any Anchor until late this fall or early winter. We stocked up on two-years worth of 3M and the alternative they're offering for Anchor in anticipation of a severe run as the spring and summer...
  11. Windows 10 - Feeling violated

I first learned about the GWX console on a thread here last week, but unfortunately I've been on the road a lot and hadn't been able to sit down and look into it. JB
  12. Windows 10 - Feeling violated

After numerous attempts, I told you no. But you persisted and would not be denied. No means no, but still...you would not (could not) be satisfied. Your advances went last too far last night and now here you are. You forced me. So...who else is dealing with a violation of privacy with...
  13. Subbing out jobs - Do you ever let the client know?

I think it's a non-issue. It ranks right along with not letting them know where you buy your supplies and materials. If it comes right down to it and they ask, I tell people that I have someone help me with my "overflow" work and that always puts the question to rest. JB
  14. Wrestiling/MMA Mat Graphics

Perhaps you could stencil and paint them. JB
  15. Wrestiling/MMA Mat Graphics

I don't think anything less than screen (or direct) printing will suffice. It has to move and flex with the mat. And, of course, if it can lift...it eventually will. JB
  16. Greetings from SC

Welcome to the forum. If you're going to rely on luck, you might want to consider Vegas. But if you're interested in business, then do a postmortem and look a little closer as to why your first run didn't make a go of it. Do you have a solid grasp on your market or your business model...
  17. what force do you guys set your plotter when cutting laminated vinyl graphics?

Well...there's 2:35 I'll never get back again. JB
  18. what force do you guys set your plotter when cutting laminated vinyl graphics?

We ALWAYS run a test cut whenever we change media rolls...ALWAYS. JB
  19. How do I save as a word file?

We've always preferred .png files without a background. JB
