  1. GSx 15 plus

Yep, what they said above. I found an extremely nice GSx for my daughter and son-in-law on eBay last summer for $275.00 shipping included. The owner said he'd throw in a few extra "parts" with it. It turns out those few extra "parts" were Gerber Omega 2.1 Cut Solution and Omega 2.1 Layout...
  2. newbe

I don't run Flexi, but I would have to believe it would. Otherwise, it would be difficult for them to compete with the other software companies out there. JB
  3. Moving on up.

We've been at it ten years now, and one thing I've learned is that you should always stay "hungry". In other words, keep the same attitude of doing more with less even if you can afford the latest and greatest piece of equipment. Sometimes, the innovative spirit that helped you grow (or...
  4. Simple Script font help needed

Finally figured out how to use the "drag" feature on WTF. Mr De Haviland, it is. JB

Not sure just what it is... Thanks, JB
  6. Font Assistance Please

It's fairly evident Federal Service was derived from Vermarco JB
  7. Here's my business card, and my artwork

Easy one.... Tell them you can only make the sign as large as, or smaller than, their card. JB
  8. Font Help Needed

I can't say for sure, but it does look interesting. I'd like to see what other numerals look like. JB
  9. Never done that in all my years......................................

That's too bad. It must have been an impressive departure, had somebody been able to witness it. I forgot to latch the hood on my '75 Audi one day and experienced a similar result, but with a little more noise, and a sudden involuntary pucker factor thrown in for good measure. On a...
  10. Today is World Backup Day 2016

Just did so this afternoon, before logging onto Signs101. Thanks for the reminder. JB
  11. Aging/ailing parents - So thankful we had "the talk"...

Even with a plan in place, I've spent the last three days just getting up to speed with it all, and I'm not finished yet. JB
  12. Aging/ailing parents - So thankful we had "the talk"...

In more ways than one, and our path goes like this: Child>Parent>Parent>Child First, we are our parent's children Next, we are our children's parents Then, we become our parent's parents And finally, we become our children's children JB
  13. Handy Signs.

Wow, that's most awesome! But...this really has me wondering what kind of sign my urologist might order :omg: JB
  14. Aging/ailing parents - So thankful we had "the talk"...

I came to that conclusion three years when my dad died. The medical world may have the latest life-saving technology, but it falls horribly behind the times when it comes to effective communication. Perhaps because they don't want to be bothered by those who have taken the time to inform...
  15. Anybody remember this old cutter?

Ha...that is cool. Ironically, I just put a set of 5 tools for a 4A on eBay last week. JB
  16. Looking for company to die cut in canada

For the quantity you need, unless it is a stock shape, it would be cheaper to stack up some sheets of coroplast up have somebody waterjet cut them. JB
  17. Aging/ailing parents - So thankful we had "the talk"...

Hey everybody... Thanks for the kind words and encouragement. I could sure use that right about now... As usual, the hospital and doctors seem to be as elusive as ever (lack of communication). If I don't happen to catch the doctor while on rounds, I have to wait until the next to day and...
  18. Is there a tool to make relief cuts around Torx screws???

Yep...hollow punches, but these will cut the vinyl. You could always put it in a drill and file over the sharp edge so it works more like the tool you've shown. JB
  19. Aging/ailing parents - So thankful we had "the talk"...

It's not about "if", it's about "when"... About six years ago, I began sensing the need to begin dialog with my aging and ailing parents about managing their affairs should they become completely incapacitated. Dad was a bit indifferent, but not totally opposed. Mom, on the other hand...
