  1. Who would have produced these for Trump??

Yea, I wonder if the company covered themselves in the contract or if they end up getting screwed.
  2. Tariff on Sign Blanks?

Yea, funny how that bankruptcy works, the principals with the cash and the lawyers drive away in their limo and the plumber uses his retirement to keep from going under. 4. Just sold a sign....Now how do I make it?

I musta missed the part where he asked how much it should cost, or whether he was qualified to make it. Just wanted to ask about some fabrication options. Also when it was said to be for a friend with an expensive lake area home I figured cost wasn't an issue anyhow.

I like hanging signs to have some weight so they don't flap too much in a wind. I,too, like the idea of a heavy weld steel frame that incorporates the hangers (which can be two tabs with holes) and bond two single face panels back to back over the frame

  11. need help attaching jewelite to weird shaped sign!

Yep, what lefty said. You can use as many nails as you want, we always used finish nails. The glue was applied with a needle nose bottle, just enough, don't want to mar the face.
  12. Service contract renewal-Yay or Nay?

I have had HP aqueous printers forever. On the old ones I would let the warranty expire and do the repairs myself. With the manuals and youtube tutorials it was possible to fix most anything, but it did take time, sometimes lots of time. On my newer ones I decided that I would rather make signs...

  14. Removing Acrylic Panel

Could be it's too thick for the retainer, or the retainer is filled with cr*p, or if it's cold there it's frozen, or there a fastener in it somewhere. Is it definitely acrylic? If it is you'll have to use care, if it's lexan you can be a little more aggressive. Since you have two sides open have...

  16. Painter Sign

At least I can read it. Better than the $$$$ "professional wraps" I can't. Maybe the guy's laid off and looking for work.... Homemade signs bother me a lot less that the cr*p I see people paying for
