    lift and remove backing should actually show the other way. Peel the backer off from the hinged edge not the other end. And for larger decals don't remove the backer entirely, use it to keep the decal from flopping around as you squegee down.

    Here's a scenario using coreldraw macro to get sq ft. 1. 12" x 12" square with no rounded corners = 1 sq ft 2. 12" x 12" star with no rounded corners = .4 sq ft 3. 12" x 12" square with 1" radius rounded corners = .9 sq ft 4. 12" x 12" star with .5" radius rounded corners = .39 sq ft I'd say...

    Not real familiar with flexi but if it doesn't have it already you can make a macro to tell the sq ft. That's what I use in corel.

    If you work in the sign business you have to have both adobe and corel. Corel is, imo, the best.

  16. Using the term "die cut" vinyl lettering

    We don't use the term die cut. RTA (ready to apply) for off the shelf colored vinyls. Any printed vinyl is "shape-cut" or simply plotted. Decals can be "punch-cut" too. And a coroplast sign is not a BANNER!
