Yes its only perf. If you print black or any dark color you can see through it (provided lights are on in the building) just as if you were looking through the other side of the perf. There is a black background in the photo, that is why you can see through it around the girls face.

the dark gray on the side is oracal 651. The brushed chrome is cheap stuff i got on ebay a while back. It was $40 for a 24"x10yd roll, but its the same as the other more expensive polyester films. The samsung logo is oracal 8300 dark gray
