I'm pretty sure Bob Price has the right solution, but if that doesn't work, then I suggest that you do a "clear preferences" before reinstalling. Clear preferences cures a lot of problems. You will have to reset your preferences, such as where your files are kept and how your selection tool...

I would think any Graphtec distributor that has a service dept. I think Tubelight could help, and you may want to check with sign supply.

I never thought of the screen resolution problem. I think I'll need to find another way. Isign probably has the best solution, but you know how that's going to go. Thanks all

When you set up the adapter, you assign it as the parallel port. Then set flexi as the same parallel port. JT

Can anyone point me to the thread that has the part number for the piston hinges for the edge. I searched and searched with no luck. I think Fred had a number from Aid Auto stores. That's the one I'm looking for. Almost got my fingers chopped off today.... time to replace them... the pistons...

OK, after 10 years, my $80 flatbed scanner crapped out. Anyone have any suggestions on which one to buy. I'm not looking for an all in one. I'm looking for a simple flatbed so I can scan artwork to clean up. Thanks JT

Did you try clearing all preferences. You access it from the start menu. You should take note of the existing preferences before you clear it. It fixes alot of the weird things that happen. Also, though I'm not in front of it now, but I think there may be a preference setting for the text...

The middle pinch rollers are made to be removed. They are designed to be used only for heavier banner material. I don't even use them for banner material. Look near the right hand end where the print head goes back and forth. There is a green identification mark with a slot where you can slide...

Simple first thing to try is to reset it. Can't remember exactly but it's something like holding the reset button down (or the online button) as you turn it on. You can also check over at 4edgetalk.com

I think I remember it not being available in Flexi. Something to do with getting the swatches into Flexi. Hope I'm wrong

You may want to do a "Clear Preferences" I find it cures a lot of the strange problems.

I usually rasterize the gradients( just the gradient, not the entire image) in flexi first before sending to the rip. It prints a much better gradient without the banding.
