    This used to happen to me a lot, then i put zip ties on the back of the clamps. Problem solved. I have a Q54. Best cutter IMO. I've used perf cut only once, its def something you need to dial in perfectly to get it to work good. Never had and big problems with it reading registration...

    the printer itself should have a setting in the menu for "strike count". Flexi 8 doesnt have a setting for number of strikes. But flexi 10.5 does

    registration marks are printed, then the printer/cutter reads them after being reloaded. It may all seem complicated right now, but once you do it once youll find it all to be easy. Here is a video of my 54" graphtec cutter reading registration marks before cutting...
