Thank you very much for your response. I will email Mimaki about the parameters like you mentioned. (I'm assuming this is the PRM file). I will also find out a way to get the firmware's as well. Thank you very much. Does anyone have the firmware files for the JV3-160SP? On another note, these...

  4. Banner only printer advice needed

We have been having great success with our Mimaki JV3-160 SP. It's an older machine, but I've just seen a sale on the newer model Mimaki JV33-160 for around $10,000. It was in an email somewhere. You can run banners at 4 pass/ Bi Directional on the fast setting for quick turnarounds.
  5. Laminator Sealeze 52H Please Help.

Would it be possible for you to wire a second foot pedal? You mentioned that it would spin forward when you bypassed everything. Maybe you can have a dedicated foot pedal that bypasses everything and just wires in to the motor itself. Just a thought.

Hey Mike! sorry, it took awhile for me to reply. Thanks for your help, I greatly appreciate it. I read somewhere that it was possible to have the head in the capping station and suck the ink...

Hey Mike, I tried the method you mentioned, however I'm still having trouble. I siphoned the lines through the bottom of the damper (the part that connects to the print head). Im still not getting any ink to flow through. I've noticed that the black and magenta are connected to the...

  15. What Material Would You Use Here...

ive done a job similar to the one you've posted. 1.Printed the Mirrored/Reversed Graphic on 3M IJ3650 Transparent Clear. The reason for the Mirrored/Reversed Graphic is because it was applied to the glass sub-surface or behind the glass. 2.Laminated the Graphic with 3M 8519 Luster Laminate...
  16. Can't Silkscreen, Heat Press, what is this?

Hey CSDD, Vinyl Cut Decals was a choice but the client refused for that exact reason, the cracking and peeling. I wish they would have gone with that route though, it would have been soo much easier, shucks. haha. Hello James Burke, I've never heard of hot foil stamping before, I'll look into...
  17. Can't Silkscreen, Heat Press, what is this?

Thank you for the tip! I really appreciate it. I did try that method however and with limited success. I'll try doing it again and using vinyl decal material instead of the low tack frisket I used the first time. Let you know how it goes. Thanks again!
  18. Can't Silkscreen, Heat Press, what is this?

Hello Everyone, I'm having trouble with this material. It's similar to leather, but I don't think it is leather. I need to put a logo on this, it's a wheel chair back rest. I've tried silkscreening, but the un-eveness of the material made it very difficult. I've tried applying a frisket...
