    Late to the party but try LexJets Print n Stick. They have it available in solvent and aqueous. We switched over from PhotoTex due to too many batch issues and we found it to be smoother with more vibrant color.

    We have a JFX200 as well. The LH-100 is a HARD ink which is probably why they chip easily. We use the LUS-150 inks which are a more flexible ink and is designed to prevent post curing cracking..

    I print glass signs for our DOT and we had some adhesion issues in the beginning. Eventually we switched to Mimaki's new PR-200 primer (100%) and used edge tape to seal. These have frames and are placed outside. Since then we haven't and any further problems. We are also using a JFX-200.

    I do cut vinyl letters for museums and art shows and they prefer it so as not to create a boxy feel to the show. I've had some have us match the paint on the wall in order to cut down on the cost of the installation. This can vary based on the money raised for each individual exhibit.

    As far as the ink not adhering it looks like a primer problem. Are you using a primer?

  19. Overnight head soak on JFX200-2513

    Do a Custody Wash and turn the machine off when it starts. We had problems with our primer and the tech had us do that. It didn't solve our problem because the head was defective but he says that's what you should try with stubborn nozzles.
