We are transitioning to PrintFactory away from Caldera and Onyx. Primarily for the ease of color management and all the modules it comes with that others charge more for like True Fit nesting and Cutting. Also understand Caldera's main tech team now work for PrintFactory so that product may be...

If you are still shopping I would try to get a digital cutter as well. In fact I would say unless you are selling only full sheets you will need digital cutter. This may affect your budget a bit so you can afford both. We also do sheetfed digital print on an Indigo and have a Arizona that is 11...
We switched our Arizona to Lipa ink in August 2023 and wish I did it a lot sooner. It covers fingerprints and sheet blemishes, has a nice durable matte finish and color gamut is great. The service has been awesome as well. Highly recommend CMYKengineering.
Look up flood fill ink level. Here is a link to the manual I think addresses this. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1910068/Canon-Arizona-1300-Series.html?page=165#manual
I'm assuming you are using Onyx? The problem might be your white ink level. You can select 1-6 I think as your levels. When I run my 460GT at level 6 I see banding in white, when run on level 5 it is smooth. I think if you right click on your job, select edit printer setting then select your ink...
Canon is now reselling the Digitech in their lineup so you do probably have service in the area if you buy through Canon. I am impressed with Digitech as well based on discussions with them. Currently have an Arizona 460GT and an HP R1000 and both machines do well. The Arizona is a 2013 model...
Thank you. It turned out that my magenta head was dislodged perhaps from pushing too much during head vacuuming. When reseated alignment was good. Still interested in your procedure though.
Also make sure all the heads are in place. Sometimes just vacuuming them or a media hit can dislodge. Push down on the heads after opening carriage cover. Also white ink can be adjusted to different level in the rip. Level 6 shows some banding level 5 is usually good.
Update on my 460GT. Moved it today about 10 miles. Hired a rigger to move it and they built a crate for it. I prepped the machine by locking the gantry with the original blocks, lowered the carriage onto the rubber bumpers from the original installation and drained the ink reservoirs. I also...
Thanks I had a crate built similar to oem that we'll use to load it and have the carriage bumper and gantry blocks. In place I'll drain the reservoir as well and remove the inks. It will be powered down for about 24 hours.
I have an R1000 that the outfeed monitor side lost the touchscreen capability. I am suspecting it is the monitor and not the software. Does anyone have this experience? It's a 2018 model.
