This is a new VersaArt Model RE-640, and from looking at the specs it is slightly faster than the Mimaki JV33 no? Will come with the 2 Year Parts and Labor Warranty and all Roland Printers (post PC60) hold resale extremely well. My demo should arrive soon -

We moved from Taylors, SC to Greenville, SC (short 10 miles) right behind Carmax in the Mac Papers Building. We are now bigger and badder than ever having been purchased by Mac Papers...
love cars - back on topic, Maybe Dye Sub/Screen? Digital canvas won't bleed, but you'll need a good profile for a rich black. There are other fabrics you can print on (Pure Color™ Media - Neschen Americas) that would drape like the photo, would be all white. They wouldn't see the back anyway right?
I don't know that digital canvas will drape that well, someone else can chime in on that.
Funny, I remembered the shop name from a thread on NASIOC (Subaru forum):JDM Legends new shop. Some sweet rides -
Congrats on a bad *** printer.
GFP
RS
Base
EL
In order of value/quality in my opinion and I sell all 3 brands. Base is super nice, but the GFP & RS have similar features for thousands less. If money is no issue go Base is your winner.
Whatcha get?
If you wanted something easy you could use the Roland Labeled Matte Canvas (PCM-MAC7 Matte Artist Canvas), Its quality product to and it's already profiled on VersaWorks. You can have it shipped in quickly from Cali by Roland too.

Had a couple calls telling me to wake up and check back in on the forums -
Please feel free to call or email anytime with anything to do with Roland printers and/or media. I'll be glad to help anyway I can!!

Your blade only needs to stick out about the thickness of a credit card.
And as those above stated a new blade can really make a difference. 45 degree is standard - good for everyday cutting, a 60 degree is better for thicker/tougher materials.
And if your cut gets off for no reason...
We sell the Arlon Magnets - everyone loves them.
Here is the description: Heavy duty magnets designed to hold vinyl graphics in place during application and / or vehicle wraps. 43mm x 6mm, coated with black rubber surface to protect graphics and prevent scratching.

Please do not do this while under warranty.
If this stuff messes your printer up (it probably will at some point) then what? Empty carts sucking air, eating wipers, clogged dampers - I've even seen fuses and main boards blow from heads not firing. Grimco is not authorized or trained to work...
At least I am selling 'legitimate' cars.......but point taken.
My main goal here at Signs101 is to help answer questions and to share/help anyway I can. Thanks for reminding me to not be such a salesman all the time -

Denver Sign Supply changed pricing this AM (www.denversignsupply.com):
Roland 220ml $63.95
Roland 440ml $117.95
I knew it was coming - Roland had 5% increase Jan. 1. Lots of dealers were selling off old stock and waited until the reordered to pass the increase on (same here).
I'll...
Probably best to leave cart in the machine (unless its completely empty there is about 8ml still there) - cut machine off on the front and leave it on in the back. Do not unplug.
Replace empty carts and you should okay. You may have to do some medium cleanings, but should be good to go...
