SG too, for Mimaki JV33 for instance.
  2. Rasterlink 6 serial number

Hi, if you still have your Rasterlink 5 serial number, Mimaki or your dealer can generate a Rasterlink 6 number from it. I’ve done it for many of our customers.
  3. Onyx 24 new user questions (Mimaki JFX200-2513EX)

Regarding the acrylic: measure through the film, preferably the thinnest acrylic you can get, and print big patches.
  4. Onyx 24 new user questions (Mimaki JFX200-2513EX)

Hi, 1. Choose CMYKWV, these are the process colors for your machine. Onyx will send the same amount of W and V to the other channel. 2. 2bpp means variable dot. In the mode options don’t forget to choose FAST instead not NORMAL carriage speed. 3. I believe Onyx has some online training too, not...
  5. Getting the same output from two different RIP's? Same ICC profile, same printer...

You also need to set source (input) profiles and rendering intents the same. When using spot colors, LAB values need to be the same too.
  6. Need Help Colorprofiling on Rasterlink 6+ with a JFX 200-2513

For your information: the JFX200-2513 is supported by RL7, but the bigger JFX200-2531 isn’t.
  7. Need Help Colorprofiling on Rasterlink 6+ with a JFX 200-2513

  8. Need Help Colorprofiling on Rasterlink 6+ with a JFX 200-2513

Hello, MPM3 is the only way to create profiles if your rip is Rasterlink. Your dealer is not correct if he states nobody is using it in Europe, how would he know? Every self-respecting official Mimaki dealer should be able to train you if you want to buy it or have someone come over and make...
  9. Epson r5070 - anyone got one?

Regarding job queueing: if you use Onyx and would like to do print spooling, then setup the Onyx print driver to send to the Windows driver of the R5070 instead of directly to its IP. Then in the Windows driver, advanced tab, select ‘spool and print immediately’. This way Onyx finishes its jobs...

There is also Fiery Prep-it, which is a rebrand of Zünd Prepare-it. https://www.fiery.com/products/large-format/fiery-prep-it/ https://www.zund.dk/sw-graphic/prepare-it-2/
  11. HP 700W and Onyx Rip Software and Calculating Ink Usage

You probably can point a browser to the IP address of your printer, and take a look there.
  12. Onyx with graphtec

On our FC9000 we kisscut and thrucut with the knife in the same position (the channel). With the layers in Onyx in the correct order, and layer settings pointing to different conditions, it’ll first kisscut and then thrucut automatically. Maybe this is possible on your machine too.
  13. Epson S80600L 3L Print

Works for European 80600’s, might not work for American models. The 3M Clearview 8150 <Frontlit> profile has a 3L mode.
  14. Software Help RIP Recommendations

For Summa flatbeds there’s no need for the Flatbed Cutting license, oddly enough.
  15. Software Help RIP Recommendations

Personally I would stay within the Onyx portfolio. If you change to another rip, you’ll need new profiles for every device too. You have the Jwei CB03, so if it’s driven by Optiscout you have the material database connection with Thrive. Caldera is a good alternative, very good support, quicker...
  16. EPSON DRIVER YOU CANNOT PRINT WITH THIS DRIVER

These drivers are only there for communications with the printer, as an intermediate between a rip and the printer.
  17. s80600 new firmware has not silenced loud fan.

80600’s manufactured from mid 2023 have a random password embedded in their nvram. You can find the password if you open the left maintenance cover. There are stickers with the serial number and password.
  18. Trouble with Acerbis grey Epson s80600

Work with custom spot colors, not only in Illustrator but in in Onyx too. In Onyx they need to be defined in the LAB colorspace. Defining spot colors in CMYK in means the color will be defined by the CMYK source profile you have set in Onyx, which is not the way to go. You can measure each...
  19. Care to share your Epson experience?

Regarding the saturation boost: media profiles are made with a certain ink limit per channel. This defines the outer boundaries of your icc profile. Increasing these after profiling, you risk over inking. Another way to squeeze out extra saturation, is firstly to explore how your file was...
