Just chiming in... Love my HP 330 Latex. Replaced my aqueous and eco-solvent with it.

I am sending as separate files. The Mimaki and Flexi requires a pause between cuts to change the tool position and settings on the Mimaki to Half cut. I then bring back to the first target and send the Half cut.

Everything ive read said 10mm x 10mm. I can change what size its looking for on the Mimaki but the Flexi software prints them 10 x 10 automatically i believe. I would like to make them smaller but other posts say it causes the plotter to miss the marks at times.

Yes I do know this. As a matter of fact Sai made a patch/update for me to fix a bug relating to the switching to half cut as a second cut in Flexi11. It's purely a registration issue when doing more than a couple stickers/labels without adding targets to every piece.

worried I'm a little worried as they are delivering my new HP330 next week and I was assured the Optimizer was going to fix that Latex trait. I have also heard that heater settings are key as well. Hoping for some good replies.

I get that if the client wanted the labels cut to the shape of the contour but these need to be contour cut then cut out into squares as well. I may or may not weed them like in the pic.

2. Half cut contour cuts and perforates at the same time so no need to cut twice. If you want to do half cut invest in the cut strip that is made specifically for half cut and accept that the blade will ware out sooner. It's still worth the hassle if you don't want to hand cut everything out...

Agreed I see your wisdom and have cleaned both it and the encoder reader to no avail. I have found encoder strips for cheap on Ebay, are they as generic as they seem. Some sites claim many brands with no model specifics and some list the later models only. Insights? For $40 ill get one but...
