  1. Question Print white and color at the same time?

This sort of thing is more limited by the specific printer you have than the RIP that is driving it. To the best of my knowledge, all RIPs treat white ink as a spot color, it's up to the printer/driver how that spot channel can be handled.
  2. New Printer

We run an Acuity, and just added a EFI Vutek at the beginning of the year. The Acuitys are just rebadged Oce Arizonas, but with Fuji doing the support. In my experience (running Acuitys and Arizonas side by side at my previous job) Oce's service is far better than Fuji's. For that reason alone...
  3. GS6000 head height lever

There's not really much reason for you to start seeing more headstrikes over time other than a buildup of ink around the printheads. When was the last time you cleaned the underside of the carriage?
  4. Epson GS6000 "PAPER ERROR - LOAD PAPER PROPERLY"

Does the printer give an "Error 1135" or something similar when you restart it? This is evidently becoming a fairly common issue on these machines as they reach EOL. Ours started doing this back in March, and Epson spent months swapping out parts to try and fix it, before finally calling it...
  5. UV Printing... With torches??

I have a feeling what you're describing as a "Frankenstein Machine" is a corona treatment system. It alters the surface ionization of a material. It's a process that is frequently used to treat things like styrene and coroplast to make them more suitable for UV printing.

The usual places would be: Outwater Gyford Nova Display displays2go MBS Clearpath and GoVivid No luck. For reference, the mounting plate is ~3" in diameter.
  7. Heavy duty standoffs

Anyone have any ideas where I might find some standoffs like the one pictured? No luck in the usual places.
  8. issue with printing this gradient

Given that it's occurring in several different file formats, it may be an error in the ICC profile. Easiest way to check would be to print a Granger Rainbow (you can download one here: http://colorremedies.com/realworldcolor/downloads/GrangerRainbow.tif.zip), and see if you see any inversions or...
  9. Flatbed or "FlatBad" Printers?

Prepare to have a list with every flatbed members have used on it.
  10. HP DesignJet Z6100 for banners?

The HP Z series printers are aqueous based. Really only suitable for interior prints on paper or specially coated materials.
  11. Routing with a flatbed cutter

Kongsberg sells underlay mats specifically made for their machines. For the XL series, i believe the part number is G34034637.
  12. Onyx profile edit only CMYK

When you create a new profile you can set the ink configuration to CMYK, CMYKcm, or CMYKcmOG. You cannot change an existing profile though.
  13. Océ Arizona 2XX, 3XX, 4XX, 550, 6XX - Revised Printhead Maintenance Procedure

Does anyone know if these updated procedures apply to the Fuji Acuitys as well?
