I'm going through the same issue with my JV3-160sp. I replaced slider board and the stripe happened. I then unplugged from wall and unhooked all strips going into slider board and the heads then hooked everything back up. Now there is not stripe happening but my yellow is nowhere to be seen on...
Update
I unhooked all ribbons from slider board and heads. Re-hooked ribbons and ran test draw. Test draw came back with black, magenta, cyan but no yellow (see photo). Ran a short print and some light black lines showed up in the middle of the print but not on sides.

The reason for the change was to improve quality of print. Our sales team had become dissatisfied with the quality and ownership wanted to get some more years out of it. The existing print heads had not been changed and were damaged over the years. Our dealer said since the machine was...
You could probably make a wood frame like a 2" x 4". Paint some PVC the green color then apply white vinyl graphics. The use some construction glue to adhere the PVC to the wood frame.
1.) Our printing dept has replaced a number of parts on our JV3-160SP and now have replaced the heads. On the test draws they are getting both sides except on the yellow head. Ink seems to be getting through the lines and filling up dampers. They have tried nozzle washes, etc. with no luck so...
