How do I fix it? How come my other printer doesn't do this? WTH? PLEASE someone help me with this annoying error!?!?! --see image--

OK. It was some random setting in Versaworks. THANKS to everyone for your helping me narrow down and solve this problem. SIGNS 101 people rule!:signs101:

Seems to only do it in one of my two versions of Roland Versaworks. Same file doesn't print the marks. CAN NOT find the setting difference!

I can also tell my rip software to make marks like that but, that option is set to NO marks

This is what prints. The dot should be there but be close to the blue. The trim marks shouldn't be there according to all my settings.

Usually save as .eps

I usually save as an .eps but, they are showing up on .jpeg, .tiff, .pdf as well.

Okay so, I was out sick for a few months. I come back to all of my settings changed. No biggie...except one! In Illustrator and Photoshop all of my art boards have these annoying trim marks in the corner. It wouldn't be an issue except they are printing and wasting material. My question is...

Can you lower the head height & it still clear the material without a headstrike? I would try that. I also prefer to print to vinyl & mount.

Thanks, I will try the head height... No headstrikes or problems with material curling, using all rollers and edge guards. After the print is done.... Looks perfectly great but, if you brush your hand across it... the ink scuffs and leaves a mark on the print. It will scratch completely off if...

We are and always have used Roland inks by the way :banghead:

We have tried about 3 different brands of banner material, longer drying times (the whole weekend), adjusted the heat both ways and STILL we are getting scuffs & scratches, especially in dark colors! Anybody else had problems like this? Suggestions for curing this headache??? Any help would be...

Have owned a Roland xc-540 print and cut for several years now and we love it! We are in the market for a new printer, mainly to print banners by the hundreds. We have been happy with having a local Roland tech for repairs & support only a mile or two away and we've been spoiled by the 6 color...

Ok, so we bought our new shop a couple of months ago and the previous owner LOVED cats. They had them inside and out. They tried to take them all but, a few (about a dozen of so!) still roam around in the woods around our shop. The previous owner's wife continues to come back and feed the cats...

Any stock photo site (like istock or shutterstock) will sell you high rez stock photos to use in your design on the cheap. Many vendors sell vector racing graphics and seamless tiles which are great. Hope this helps!:thumb:
