You really need to get a technician out as there are so many reasons why it may not be printing. Was the head you replaced new, or a cheap'refurbished' one, and where did you get it?

Why don't you use VW as it is designed for the printer?

The o ring should be fine. If one fails you are more likely to get ink starvation to the head as air will enter the system. In an extreme case it could cause leaking from the damper onto the head, but this isn't that common

The panel board would be the first and most likely thing to try. If that doesn't fix it then you will need to delve deeper

AFAIK you don't need to change the firmware when fitting the new pump. I haven't replaced an old one for years though, but don't remember ever having to do it before.

If it came from digiprint or china or similar then is definitely a knock off. You can't get new boards from Roland anymore. If it isn't the panel board and all cables are ok then my next guess would the mainboard has partially failed. These are getting quite hard to get working ones now though

No you can change them with the rail on. You need to remove the cut and print carriage, then you can slide the blocks off the rail to the left. There is a small blocking piece to undo with a screw, but is an easy job to do. Have just replied to your message as well

And yes, always use a cleaning solution that matches whatever ink you are using. It may be fine, but is a lot safer to use the same thing so you know it won't cause any issues

With all the many heads I have replaced in the past, I have never torqued the screws to hold them. As long as they are normally tight then they are fine
