I found out what happened, the encoder strip slipped behind the censer. I don't know what happened but I must have pulled it out without knowing.

I already tried that, the head is still held in the carriage. It moves to the right instead of the left.

Firmware is 118 sub controller 112 The part that I think I need is the board that the ink censon plugs into. All the cartrages went to that state at the same time.

I was strange thing I can ping the printer in board manager mode but when I tried to load firmware it said on the printer transfer failed. Now that it is installed it prints fine from Vista.

It may be a IP conflict in my network. The three Vista Computers are on the same network. The XP is a stand alone.
