I foolishly let my friend use my laptop over the weekend and recieved it with Porn images.
He claims it was a joke for me to find but it was in my Cookies, History, Temp Files, etc... so I know he was just being perverted. How do I get this off so as not to effect my Address Bar websites and History Links. Is there a cookie killer app you guys recommend and dammit I just realized while typing this how dirty this keyboard might be.
This sucks.

The old "I lent my friend my laptop routine"......:Cool 2:
Shoot that's why I'm askin' yaw!
I don't want to call Dell or the Geek Squad and ask them this question. I'd rather take humor from you guys then try to explain myself to them.
:beerCheers!!!

Ad-Aware and Window Washer both clean all this stuff. Window Washer can also "wash" your drive space in varying levels from 3 - 35 passes which pretty much wipes out any trace bits & bytes left after deleting cookies, temp files & history. I run both every day just to be safe.

I don't remember this and I'm 'sticking' to that.

How do I get involved and associated with this type of involvement ??

I like to drink, but you'll never see me in a topless bar or anything remotely related to that crap. Don't need it... don't want it.

:thankyou:

Ad Aware..you may find me in a topless bar, unfortunately, there are none in this area.
I would go to the command bar, hit C>format.

try this

CCleaner. Free to download, does a snappy job of cleaning temps & cookies well enough for any user. Also will clean your registry and has tools that allow you to check your "startup" programs.

Yes, CCleaner is what you want to use to delete all the "tracks". Just be careful to look over the default settings before you let it loose.
