But I do have one comment, the quality of a design has no impact on the ability to copyright or even trademark it. There are lots of substantial companies with very simple and/or lousy logos.

I know my web counter is way behind the times. I did it that way because I wanted something simple and fast that took me 2 minutes to do. That fit the bill.

I have regular weekly analytics but the results aren't as fast. The counter is instant gratification for me.
