The group is called "Flexi Software sign users" - everyone is complaining about Flexi 19, from colors sucking, contour cutting issues, profiles having to be redone, etc.
Flexi 19 from what I've been reading is a huge release. With any huge release, there are going to be issues. No matter how many times they do an internal QA on it, there are bugs/hiccups to be found.
Really, things have to be "out in the wild" with people putting it through their normal workflow for these issue to arise.
I know I'm a bit of a broken record around here, but this is why don't want to be "bleeding edge" or if "you" are going to be, be aware that comes with risks.
You'd think they are big enough to QA this stuff before releasing it.
It's more about user base then it is anything else, as it's the users and their workflows that discover things. However, keep in mind, Flexi isn't as big as MS and just think of all the issues that MS has with every new release (I used to have sympathy for that, but once being "bleeding edge" is forced, sympathy is no more). They don't have an internal QA anymore, it's all user based, all of it. I wouldn't be surprised if Flexi is that way out of necessity.
Guess when you have little to no competition (design/cut/print suite) you get lazy.
Sure, some of that is there as well. But keep in mind, with all software, it's sold/distributed "as is" and no warranty is given, even warranty for suitability for a particular purpose (that ironically includes the purpose for which it was designed). But having less competition really makes it easy to slide down.
