Has anyone been paid to curse on a handmade sign?

I had someone request a message to be sandblasted into a large, smooth garden stone. It said "Get the F~~K off my Grass. It was very subtle on the stone, and almost everyone killed themselves laughing when they bent down to read it. Then, of course, they got off the grass.

I had a buddy that wanted a skeleton hand flipping the bird for his Fatboy. I did it on his bike, and he had the painter clear over it... and then I did one for his dad.

done some stuff for friends but have never been asked by a paying customer
but i would probably do it
not sure how it is really a reflection on your beliefs
it's just a job
do you make campaign signs for political people that you don't support?
or banners, sticker, labels etc. for groups or religions that you don't belong to

Ahh the voodoo finger. I have done a ton of these for a body shop around here. Mostly as a negative so they can paint it on the bike. As for anything else, not so much. I have done stuff for a cousin that sells stuff at swap meets. He tells anyone who buys them that he makes them. The most popular one I make for his is probably "da shocker". As for regular signage, I have been asked to make signs that say F*** Obama or F*** Bush or things like that and I wont. Personally, I dont like hearing people speak that way around my kids and I dont want them to be reading that stuff either.

There are plenty of people around here that will gladly make you those kind of stickers. Heck one of the sticker guys around here (he cant make a sign worth crap so he just does stickers) had things all over his work truck that made him look like an idiot when he would try and get a job. I would post a pic of it, but he might be on here and I dont want to start a war on here.

Well, I am a "Biker" and that is as usual a stereotype. But it is true. We do stuff for clubs all the time. like "If you can read this, the BITCH fell off" and "F@!# OFF!! I have enough friends" And the list goes on & on. But I have no problems with it. I guess it is all a matter of what each person cosiders as "Offensive" as I pretty much find nothing off limits, unless of corse I am talking to my "MOMMY" and we all kmow that's a "NO - NO"...M*

i had to make some obama campaign signs last year... but in honor of free speech and spendable cash I did it. Curse words... no problem. Anything for a buck!

sticks & stones can break my bones but....

I've got some patches on my vest that fall under that catagory. "La Dee F#$@&*' Da" is one of my favorites...along with a couple on imigration.

And I have talked to a local 1% club about doing some patches for them, because they were haveing a problem getting them from where ever.

All in all, I see it as a job, and income. I once worked at a sign company that wouldn't do work for any casinos because the owner was so religious that since the word had sin in it, he wanted no part of it.
