Is there a way to score the liner for decals?

I know this is an old thread but we use this method for "crack and peel" decals. If you have the room just add a kiss-cut tab to the graphic. Bend and peel. Works just like a back-slit but on the face.

I've see it done on labels in the old days, its called "Kiss Cutting" you put a blade strip on a letterpress machine and set it so it just "kisses" the back of the label and leave a score without cutting into the label. Takes a good letterpress to do it
