i'd advise against it. the lamination will shrink at a faster rate that the cling and since there is no adhesive to hold the cling down, it'll flag the edges and make it fall off.

I would advise against it totally and ask if maybe they wanted it reverse printed on clear, then backed in white or even die cut after backing it to keep it away from outdoor elements.
