for 20 of them $40 is too low.
our political signs start at 25 QTY and that would be $36.19ea for one side full color
ALWAYS get paid upfront with politicians, the losers have a REALLY SHORT memory and usually forget to pay the bills once the campaign is over
Is that digital printed or flat bed?
We usually charge $50 a piece, but since they ordered a bunch we gave them a break to $40 each and now their wanting them for $35/each. Told them we could not do it, that if they wanted them it would be $40 each.
that is flat bed
plus if it is like any other politician they are RUSH RUSH RUSH
We would be around $80 each for one offs, for 10 pcs we would go down to $72 each. Printed on cheap vinyl, no laminate.I done a few signs for a political candidate for $40 each. Their asking if we can do them for $35 each and they want to order like 20 more.
I don't want to budge off of $40 but the guy is basically begging me to do it.
We digital print them with a picture, etc on them. Is $35 too cheap?
Thanks.
Got a message they want us to stay late past business hours so they can talk to us about pricing. They asked if we could do free stickers along with the discount on signs. Sorry, no freebies from us. We pay the $25,000 machine payment, not them. They said they deserve a price break for ordering so many. Ok, like I said, we sell them for $50 a piece, we gave them to you for $40. No more price breaks, we can't afford it.
I'm sticking to my guns on this one, and won't go a penny cheaper. I can give "discounts" on stickers because they don't cost much to make, but when we do a 4x4 sign, plus the coroplast, vinyl, labor, etc, its not possible.
