About a month ago from a Skyhigh quote to Old Paint and myself:
"Old Paint & Buttwipe...... Why don't you take a minute and show me how you would improve on this "modest", yet what I consider very nice (for the budget) layout. Keep in mind..... only show me how you can improve this layout, and still keep it under $400 (both sides & back door). Granted, this is NOT anything special... but its not garbage either. Its a neat, legible, well worth the money lettering job.
I can hardly wait to see how you do. Put up, or shut up".

So after Old Paint posted yesterday a pic of the van he did, figured I had to "put up" something for Skyhigh. Had a pic of him from an old avatar he used and reworked it. Tried out the new pattern maker in Illustrator 6 for the background. Maybe Skyhigh could use this idea for his day job.
Now I have a King and a Fool, just need a Queen and a Jack to complete the face cards.

did either you or Old Paint do a re-design to improve on the budget design? I didn't see what Sky posted for the design, but an idea for an improvement still keeping within the budget would have been interesting. this, not so much

it sounded like Sky had posted a real job, you and Old Paint said it sucked, and Sky challenged you and OP to do better, that's not what happened? he just posted the van thing? that was kind of dickish

Sorry, some of you guys need to lighten up, and learn to have some fun sometimes. Obviously this is a place for professionals, who help, and people who give and need tips. But it doesn't always have to be a military camp on every thread, and every post... The same people attempting to police every post or thread someone makes, what are you trying to prove? Sky made a joke, it was funny. John is now having some fun. Really, i seriously doubt either one of them is offended.

If you really want to know then I will tell you. I had no intention of it being a pissing contest, so sorry if the crowd is gathering to watch that. Just adding a little spice to the forumn because it gets a little boring sometimes on why someone is getting lines in their print or how to make more money by not working. If someone is looking be a smart guy I have no problem with that either. Its the internet back and forth, so sorry Joe but no one is going to be unzipping their pants.

Pathetic bunch of people who really give this place such a bad reputation and they don't even realize it. There are so many other online sign sites that I frequent and they hardly ever have this kind of childish behavior there.Says it all really.

Seems you are pointing the fingers at the wrong people as to who[m] are the pathetic ones.


I'm on a few of those others, but by a different name. They're all the same, except this one has the best information.
