What do you normally have head height at, I was thinking of putting it on high as I have a fear of head strike.

Would this decrease the quality of the work done on 100 micron vinyl?

dude.... high head height always yields less quality.... period...

it give more room for the ink to deflect and/or drift.

I don't care what printer you use.....

Thing's I haven't got the grasp of doesn't constitute total lack of knowledge most of the question I have ask I already knew but what is the harm in asking 20+ year vets.

Is there a medium setting as I don't think there is but could be proven wrong?

Take for example the earlier question, if you check the manual it says always turn the sub power off and leave it on at the back, no where does it say let it go into service mode.

Also I have had the printer 1 week.

"...Also I have had the printer 1 week."

They can be very intimidating... do small test prints and experiment with your new aquisition before commiting to large scale prints...!!!
