I'm working on a Signs 101 tour flash movie and looking at a choice of breaking it up into small parts or having one movie with a table of contents. I would prefer the second choice because it just seems to be more cohesive that way but I'm concerned about members and visitors using dialup connections.

So any input from any experienced moviemakers would be appreciated as well as an answer to the poll.

Hate to say it but in this day and age with the high speed being affordable (i.e. cable) and as big as some of the file transfers we as sign people do (FTPs, email attachments, etc). I cant imagine anyone still being on dialup

DIALUP - Beezotches!

I'm in the sticks and our only option until the past couple of months was Satelite. Within the next couple of months we're doing Wifi. I'm line of site, so I sould be getting 3 - 4 MBS.

Finally, streaming porn! :clapping:

DSL, home and work. Both are wide open with work 2x faster than home. Slow compared to the big city speeds though.

Around here they estimate 70% of the people in the county are still on dialup.

Since I haven't been on dialup since 1997 I can't even imagine going back. In this day and age of bloated, huge, annoying Flash sites, dialup is all but obsolete.

If I moved one or two miles up or down the road I could get line of sight to a wireless tower..as is..still on dial-up.
