Yeah I was going to suggest speaking with EFI since the printer is new and you are covered by warrenty. I am sorry to ask but have you tried to profile the material which may not be possible since you have double white.

Hmm, did yo check and make sure your rollers are moving up and down at the same speed and that material ANS laminate are straight and evenly loaded. check pressure too.

Completely agree , its all depends on need , Usage and budget.

Start by seeing what the printer is doing right and not. ie. its looking for carriage lift,.... do you have air ? did the carriage move at all ? with power off... lower carriage very low and turn on printer, did it move ? fuses good ? lets start there
