Hello, I have read error when I insert a Magenta ink cart in my Mutoh 1204. I looked inside the ink cart opening with a flashlight and I saw that the little electronic chip that read the card is broken inside the printer. Where can I buy this part? is it easy to replace? If not is it possible...

problem solved, it was a air leak on 1 of the ink line.

I am still trying to resolve my nozzle check problems on my 6 months old 1204. Signwarehouse sent me a new Maintenance Station, I installed it this morning but it seems like the problem remain the same. When I do cleaning or little charge I don't see any ink going in the waste tray. The 2 clear...

It's working again. I just pushed on all the cable everywhere, restarted the printer and the problem disapeared. Thanks!

The printer was turned off when I replaced the maintenance station but I did not unplug the cord. I have a second printer, I will try to switch the main board between them to see if it makes a difference.

I just replaced the maintenance station on my mutoh 1204 and I just after powering the machine on I now get the message "[KCMY]S/C ReadErr" on the screen. I tried with new ink cart and tried to reboot the printer several times but the error remains. I most likely broke something when I replaced...

Ok, the SignWarehouse tech called me back, he seemed very knowledgeable,he said that the issue most likely come from the Maintenance Station and he sent me a new one.

I bought it from SignWarehouse.com and yes I did contacted them but it's impossible to talk to them on the phone, you always get a dispatcher on the line. They opened a ticket, asked me to send pictures, I did and now I'm just waiting for one of their tech to call me back. Does anybody know how...

The printer is about 6 months old. I just noticed that when I do a cleaning or a little charge nothing go in the waste tray. I can hear the noise of the maintenance station but it looks like it's not pumping any ink. Is it the pump? the seal? or should I just replace the maintenance station...

There is no air in the line, the line is seems full of ink but 1 of the black damper is empty. Does that mean I need to replace the damper ? Thanks

The picture shows the ink residue under the cap of the capping station. The wiper, top of the capping station and print head are spotless clean.
