  1. Looking for Hanging, Light-up Window Sign Vendor.

Interesting idea. I'll reach out to a couple shops I work with to ask them.
  2. Looking for Hanging, Light-up Window Sign Vendor.

They have a pretty complicated logo that could only be printed and applied to an acrylic face. Neon wouldn't work.
  3. Looking for Hanging, Light-up Window Sign Vendor.

My customer is looking for a small, rectangular light-box type sign, roughly 2' x 1', with their logo, that will hang in a window similar to an "OPEN" sign. I have no problem getting larger light-boxes from different local vendors, but this one is stumping me. Also, just to note, I normally...
  4. Drilling Into Acrylic

One trick is to heat the plastic carefully with a heat gun for about 30 seconds while using a pre-drilled piece of wood clamped to the acrylic as a guide for the bit.
  5. Pole banners - Do you make them or buy them?

I'm looking for either a supplier of blank pole banners, an inexpensive manufacturer of them, or a good way to make them [sample below]. They have to be 2-sided, blue substrate. I don't think printing them is a great option due to the solid background color on both sides, plus the hem and pole...
  6. Looking for a vendor for this kind of custom braille wayfinding signs (photo)

Hi, Please recommend a couple vendors for these - thanks:
  7. Solid color wrap vinyl shipped with premask - How to install?

An auto-body shop has asked us to help them with a vehicle graphics install. Part of the job is solid pieces of solid color 3M Controltack, about 3' x 5'. It was shipped to them by some large graphics company with premask applied. We've done a couple wraps, but I can't understand how you can...
  8. Brand new UStech Laminator Problems...

I have a question about your USTech laminator unrelated to your issue -- How did assembly of it go? How many people did you need to lift the pieces for assembly? The reason I ask is that the website says the laminator weighs 500+ lbs, and our shop is on the second floor of a building with no...
  9. What are your favorite wrap tools?

We had a local wholesaler print the graphics, and they told us it was Avery RS cast --- but there were no markings on the back of the liner, which makes me wonder. But it was easy enough to work with. I think it's just lack of skill on our part.
  10. What are your favorite wrap tools?

It was a small trailer, and we had some wheel wells that gave us trouble. But we did a vertical center hinge on one side, which was a big mistake. Other than that, it was hard not to get some wrinkles here and there, especially at rivets.
  11. What are your favorite wrap tools?

I'm new to wrapping, so I was looking for some tips. We just did a box-truck, and it was very difficult. What tools make your job easier? What's indispensable to you? Anything that you wouldn't have thought of when you were starting out?Thanks....
  12. Help Finding a Supplier For These Lovely Way-finding Plaques...

4.75" x 4.75" x 0.25". I believe the vendor is the right one. Thanks for the help posters..
  13. Help Finding a Supplier For These Lovely Way-finding Plaques...

Looking to match these as close as possible. They look so damn familiar, but I can't seem to find the supplier. Any help is much appreciated.. Thanks!
  14. SummaCut vs. Mimaki CG-SRIII Vinyl Plotter?

I'm upgrading my old Roland vinyl plotter and debating between purchasing one of these two. I'd really appreciate some feedback on reliability, recurring issues, customer support, ease of obtaining *inexpensive blades* (eBay), etc. Any known issues with the machines? What has been *your*...
  15. Illustrator Artboard Size

Agreed. We do most designs at 10%. Gradients render much faster at this scale too.
