Head surface looks horrible but you do have most of your nozzles on your test print. Try lowering the carriage to the low position and then re-run drop.pos. Then run a file using un-directional. Let us know what that looks like!
If you put CP manager in service mode you can use the Actuator menu in order to run ink back to the cartridge. This will Lower the ink level in the subtank and remove the error code.
It may be time to replace or cap and pump on that channel. Ink doesn’t appear to be pulling as it should.
The product code for the degassing module on a JFX500 is:
(MP-M801432 Degassing module)
If you are referring to the ones in the external ink supply box. There are 16 of them.
If you haven’t replaced the dampers in two years you might want to start there. Before replacement of a print head try replacing the dampers and the cap. Like you said you need to replace either way and if it’s a damper issue you save yourself the cost of a printhead.
This error means the light quality of the emitter LED is deteriorating or dirty.
In the NCU there is a light emitter LED and a receiver. The printer checks for missing nozzles by dropping nozzles through the NCU and tracking the amount that cross the light.
The NCU unit is located to the left...
What firmware version do you have on your CJV150? I believe that issue was fixed in one of the updated versions.
email : Service@reecesupply.net for onsite service request, phone tech support or parts/supplies purchase.
Onyx Or Flexi would be great if you have a couple thousand dollars laying around! Or if you want a monthly subscription payment. I wouldn’t spend that much just to run a 5 or 6 year old Mimaki CJV30.
Rasterlink 6 Plus would do the job just fine at a reasonable price. Unless you are looking for...
Along with everything said above you may want to make sure the “OverCut” function is turned on. (0.03 or 0.07) That should help with your “Attached in the corner” issue.
If you are looking for an affordable RIP software I would recommend Rasterlink 6 plus. The software is about $360 and it’s made by Mimaki to run their printers. You can visit there website to download the printer driver and the software. Keep in mind without the purchase of the software you...
The Mimaki UCJV150 or 300 series would be a great choice. Since you already have a CJV150 solvent the learning curve would be greatly reduced operating and software wise.
The UCJV series eliminates drying time with its UV LED curable system. Your ink cost per square foot would basically be cut...
This normally happens if the blade holder rubs up against the uncured ink on the media while cutting.
There is a option in Rasterlink that allows you to cut first then print. Click on the “Composition” tab and drop the “Cut” File to the bottom. This tells the printer to cut first.
With this...
Means the main board and slider board are not communicating. Check FFC cable between the main board and slider board.
Make sure the FFC cable is seated correctly. (Reseat) Other possibilities could be faulty slider boards or main board.
Ink leak sensor? There are two ink leak sensors one under the ink bottles Assy and one is in the ink supply pump box. If there was an ink leak and ink saturated the ink leak sensor you would have a system halt 637 error 00001 or 00002.
so your problems are highly unlikely to be a caused by a...
So that means it’s communicating with HDC board now. This error message means head temperatures cannot be measured.
1) Verify Optical connection by unplugging and re-seating cables from slider to HDC board.
2) make sure yellow switches on RX converter PCB are positioned the right way.
3) Test...
System halt 181 PCB H21 means the printer is not seeing your HDC board. So in order to get that error to go away you have to replace the parts I outlined in my previous post. So if you haven’t done this yet then I don’t know what else to tell you.
I have seen this error many times on older...
