Rasterize in PHOTOSHOP if Illy wont let you OR get rid of Spot colors and make all CMYK or RGB. That solves your transparency issue.

Client said it was coroplast.....all I know. trying to get more info.

Are your printheads at the High or Low setting on the carriage?

Ya know what John....you're right. It does feel good to fire someone like that. I get it constantly to be honest. "We love your quality....but can you do better on pricing??" Sometimes in order to see if I'll get more work out of them, I'll take a job after getting the price up a little...

We print our wrap and small adhesives on XC 540 as well. Anything larger say trucksides or similar get printed on the 3360 EC. If oversize for flat surfaces is needed, we print on the QS 2000.

I just looked at the photos....That IS a bullsh*t print by any means. If not for the color, the nozzle loss and banding....I would kill one of my employees if they let anything like that even FINISH printing. Nobody QCd that print. In a way I love it too...lol. This is the same case presented...

We were having some similar hardware issues with one...could not quite pinpoint it to an ip address or subnet mask issue. Drove me nuts. Just got a separate NIC card for the printer to attach directly to the computer with a crossover cable. Problem solved.

One thing with the Vutek printers...in the High production speed modes like that, IE Light Smoothing....typically that UV Ink Lawnmower effect can be pretty nasty. Tightening up the interlace...IE Heavy Smoothing improves a great deal but increases print times by approx 66-75%. Not sure if the...

colorburst is actually simple to use for tiling.

you archived the RTL file? or did you archive just the Tiff or whatever and rerip?
