    Just a heads up, Oracal 210 works just as well for dry erase as any specialty dry erase lam I've ever encountered for a fraction of the cost. And yes GNR w/Slash is the best band.

    PS models do in fact have an internal rip. You can send prints directly to the printer.
  11. Anyone using HP latex printers for wraps?

    We use Onyx and it will advance the media if there is a blank area. My only gripe with this machine is getting a really good solid deep black. I don't know if its a profile issue or just the way the inks are formulated but a deep black is really hard to achieve with this printer in my experiences.

    There is no maintenance. The machine cleans itself. Heads are cheap and just swap in and out. Cheap banner doesn't print well only because it cant take the heat. Ultraflex prints great.

    Flexi doesnt handle gradients very well. This has been well documented.

    Anybody know of a vendor that sells 10 mil polycarb overlaminate by the yard? I don't need a whole roll, it would just sit here and collect dust for the next 2 years. I only need about 5 yards but everywhere I look its sold by the roll. If I could buy a 10 yard roll that would work too, but...

    I use Xign and Fellers Pop-Up for trade show booths and retractable banners and they print beautifully.

    Adjust your heat settings and yes, they can. I run Xign all the time and have no issues.
  20. Error: Contour cutting is not supported for multi-page design???

    I'm only using one art board. However I figured out what the problem was. When Cutting Master opened it still had the available space from the last job I did on it which was smaller than the current job so it was splitting the work into 2 pages. I re-polled the plotter and everything was better.
