  2. Alcohol streaks in UV prints

Pretty much what all our prints look like on our Oce Arizona when we prep w/ alcohol (or anything else for that matter) on acrylic. Not helpful I know, but I've yet to find a way to successfully prep materials like acrylic without leaving behind visible streaks. Have you tried buffing off the...
  3. Installer Training ?

    Have you considered Google? https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/graphics-signage-us/resources/installer-training-testing/preferred-graphics-testing-dates/
  4. National Facilities Direct Corporation (NFDC), anyone dealt with them?

Those 5 star reviews are all fake/bought. I'd be weary if I was you, seems like the only real ones are the 1 star reviews and they all have the same theme...............shady. Good luck.
  5. Customer sent me this ad/price

Is anyone else getting this popup when you first visit the site? THAT'S how you compete with a company like this, even if only temporarily. I honestly hate that business model, makes us all look bad. Especially with coroplast signs, customers don't really care about quality when it comes to...
  6. attaching ACM to steel frame

Ah yes, you're right. I think staring at spreadsheets and formulas all friggin' day has officially fried my brain. Might be time to call it a week. :toasting:
  7. attaching ACM to steel frame

For the sake of playing devil's advocate, and assuming you can get acm to bond to itself really well...........Couldn't you in theory bond the two sheets to themselves once in place? Run a bead of vhb or whatever along that frame just to be safe, but if you scuffed and bonded the two sheets...
  8. Wrapping a 50ft tall concrete silo. Anyone ever done something similar? Pricing and time?

That's too bad. Hard to imagine going through a shit show like that and forgetting about it. To me this would be one of those important "lesson learned" type projects.
  9. Need Help Canon Arizona 1260 GT - Non-Canon Support Options in Houston, TX?

Agreed. Think some Chinese company is gonna give two shits about support on your cheap printer? Think again.
  10. Sticker Mule needed a permit

Thanks...........for leading me down the rabbit hole that is their IG account! Wow. What a train wreck. They're either geniuses or about to derail their whole company. The amount of comments that say this will end up in a Netflix documentary... :roflmao: Some of these are just painful to...
  11. Edge trim for light box

Isn't that just an extruded frame, like EX7? What the hell happened to that sign, it's an abomination. How could someone screw up a simple small signbox in that many ways?
  12. ARLON

Sweet, thanks for the tip! We don't order a ton of Arlon but did get a couple of qualifying rolls. Shockingly, us Canadians are even included in the promo!

  18. Suggestions Add Canon Colorado 1650/M3 or Epson S60600/S60600L?

Sorry to hear about your experience Christian, that sounds really frustrating. It's always surprising to hear how Canon support is in the US, I feel like in Canada and Australia they've been really good. Hopefully you guys can come to some sort of resolution that doesn't involve them just...
  19. Suggestions Add Canon Colorado 1650/M3 or Epson S60600/S60600L?

Thanks for the reminder, guess I never came back and updated this thread. We ended up going with the S60600 because the price point was great and we felt it was the right fit for us. We've run 20k sqft through it and not a single issue. It's so much faster that our old Rolands, I honestly...
