we have a roland LEJ, fuji acuity and and EFI all three are used for outdoor signage. the EFI we have only had a little over a year so not 100% on ink life but the other two have signs out there over 5 years and they are ok. you are going to get a little big of fade over time but how much...
we are new to the mimaki world but purchased a CJV330-160 printer about 4 months ago through Tyrrell tech and we have a few issues and they were quick to respond and get us up and running each time. we have been a customer of theirs for about 13 yrs and they have always been pretty good with...
did you find an installer in NY yet?
my shop is in Garfield NJ but i go to ny. that area depending on where the actual install is, is about hour and 50 min from me. you can email me details and i can quote the install peter@alpack-pic.com
customer has these curtain trailers and they got bought out by another company so they asked me how to cover it.
i told them to paint them.
i have tried in the past to install vinyl on them but if i do mange to get it installed properly it doesn't hold up due to the abuse they get.
i would definitely use a high tack vinyl. will it rip up the wood? i would think only if it's already splintering but it will definitely be a bitch to remove. probably be messy, leave a lot of adhesive residue
i just installed a two post sign (post and panel) 2 posts, 4x4x8 and put them in about 30" then screwed the signs to them
i charged $300 just for install
figure what you need for the work/proofs you did and taxes you had to pay. if they come back to you refund the difference and give them the artwork you charged for then wash your hands.

Gino for president! wait you might not be old enough. the way things are now you don't have to worry about putting grandpa and grandma in the nursing home just put them on the ballot for senate or president
i would use a high tack vinyl with gloss laminate. DPF would work but keep in mind high tack vinyl tend to shrink more than regular calendared vinyl for some reason.
i normally stock the avery 2126 HT EZ that seems to work pretty good for me
all too familiar with the customer doing stuff incorrectly and not taking responsibility.
we send out a proof with approval sheet to sign off on and clearly states check all spelling, grammar, images...blah..blah and so many times things go unnoticed and then they are shocked that we want to...
i agree reputation and word of mouth will be the most productive and i am not saying you should go nuts or spend days of valuable time and or money to promote on social media but....
again it's free so use what you can with the minimal amount of time and see what happens. if you get one sale you...
i have used FB market place for personal use to buy and sell things but haven't tried it for business purposes. i do post jobs on my social media accounts and have picked up business from friends and family that way.
i would say social media and or FB market place are just another outlet you can...
i letter dump trucks for a paving company and i have yet to find a vinyl that doesn't burn up over time.
i have used orajet 3751 and also orajet 3591GHT both of which i have gotten no more than 2-3 years before it starts turning brown from the heat of the asphalt.
they were both digitally...
try some of the different profiles. there used to be a static cling profile but unfortunately static cling as always been an issue on our roland eco-solvent printers. i generally try to run static cling on our UV printers
