  1. Best way to rename this sign...for the third time in 2-3 years

So, am I the only one curious about the new restaurant? You don't have to share the logo or the name - but is it just another mexican joint? A pizza place? Coffee bar?
  2. Substance vinyl issues

Do you have a takeup unit? Don't know if this would work, but could you steal a core holder from the takeup and test your uneven temp theory? Maybe you could shift the material to the other side to see if it helped? Not exactly like this, but you get the idea...
  3. Ventilation for flat bed UV printing

I can also vouch for those AC Infinity cloudline fans - they work incredibly well! I've had one running for a few years straight without issue.

  5. How do you store / organize your overs?

Yes! We have a big shared roll-off dumpster outside the shop and there is nothing more enjoyable than chucking stuff into that sucker. Throwing stuff away is so much fun.

  9. Waterproof Fluorescent Cardstock

I don't know about the thickness (mils vs. cardstock "weights") but you may want to check out Yupo. Take a look at their Illuminate - it's waterproof polypropylene suitable for UV and screen inks. https://yupousa.com/what-is-yupo/yupo-grades/yupoilluminate/ If not, contact them and see what...

  14. Any Canadians have experience hiring immigrants?

Do you have any customers or know anyone in the tourism industry? Not sure how 'seasonal' things are up in Canada, but down here in Virginia the hotels, theme parks, restaurants, etc. all ramp up with international employees each summer. Maybe some of your customers could help you with info?

  16. Ever Put two Banners together?

Reviving this old thread... May I ask for opinions on how best to tackle this 10'x10' banner? I have a 54" printer, so it would have to be in 3 pieces (2 vertical seams). Would hem tape be suitable here since its against the building? Or the HH66 vinyl cement? I'm also a little confused about...

  18. Gerber Question

Yes, though Omega 2.0 is from 2003 and you may have a harder time finding a computer that can run Windows XP. The Edge 2 also uses a parallel cable, so you'll likely need the special Gerber-made parallel-to-USB cable. And you also have the USB dongle, yeah?
