About 20 years ago I had to make a decision between buying our first Digital printer or getting into 3D signs and buying a router, I choose Digital, for a few reasons one of those being that no one in our area had a digital printer & we live in a rural area & I wasn't sure if the economy would...
I was at a sign show in Atlantic city or Columbus our first year in business 22 years ago and at one of the lectures application fluid came up ( this is way before air egress vinyl ) and the speaker said if your in this business do yourself a favor and learn to do it the right way DRY for...
My brother is our production guy, he does 4x8 prints by himself all the time using ij180c. We have a laminator but he feels he has more control doing it himself than the laminator.
Who is this?
Lol yeah I really don't want to see it go. This is the machine that started the whole 4edgetalk community & helped develop the tinting white & shadowcast foils. I doubted anyone would still be around here that remembered.
We have decided to sell our beloved Gerber Edge 2 to make room for some new equipment. It is in very good condition, we just don't use it much anymore to dedicate a corner of the shop to it. I am including all of our foils. We have over 130 foils mixed between Gerber, Zero Nine & Duracoat in...
I keep the Edge 2 for anytime I need white on clear. I heard the metallic are not outdoor durable but I have no personal experience with it.

I absolutely loved to use Marker back when I was running Omega but now that I don't use Omega much anymore I miss being able to use it without a bit of hassle from moving around vector copies of the letters. Does anyone have Marker in a TTC format?
Let me know how it turns out for you Dale, I am using CMYKLmLcLkO and there are only a couple profiles available for those as well.
How do you like the White ink? I didn't want the speed loss. I can't imagine how slow it would be on a 150.

If it goes outside it needs to get cast vinyl only, intermediate vinyl will loose it's colors in a couple years. Also I wouldn't consider 651 or ij35 acceptable for anything that sees the outside.
I'm sorry I thought I answered this earlier this morning. I haven't received my Onyx yet but I will be getting Onyx 12 Postershop

As the title states, I'm looking to purchase a Xrite i1 Pro 2 so I can create profiles for Onyx and possibly calibrate my monitor and scanner depending on what features & licenses are available.
Thank you
I've used Orical in the past but in my opinion the best Orical is about equal to midrange 3M. But that's just my opinion & over 25 years of experience. Thicker isn't better, but you need to remember your going from a non-experienced customer & if they are comparing 3m laminated to im...
I think the cal in Orical is more like "Calendar" IMO. 7125 is not an easy vinyl to install, if you want easy to install choose 3m IJ180C WE ONLY use 3m for everything & we never have issues.
So your using a cutter that is at least 3 generations old and a bridge software and you give users 1 day to answer your question and now the forum has lost its ability to help?
The only advise I can give you is dig through the bridge software manual and see what you can find. I had an issue...
