you need to pinch the line coming from your cap top then fill with cleaning fluid then put heads in home position and crank the cap tops back up and let it soak over night .
(turn the machine off so nothing moves)
we normally just have the kids and grand kids so shouldn't be an issue but with that said and not to start a long drawn out thread of what's right and what's wrong but...
my house ...my rules
(also agree with Gino, that last paragraph ...good stuff right there..haha)
hope everyone can enjoy the...
one last important thing, saw mentioned above about getting quotes another good point and throw in with that who ever you go with find out about their tech support.
nothing worse than having a machine down and they can't get to you or can't get parts quickly.
yeah i would say that vinyl is fine provided it sticks to the wall. like already posted test the vinyl on the wall.
i would even use oracal 651 for something like that and no issues (in my experiences. also provided it sticks)
we have 3 roland eco-solv print cut machines and love them. they are relatively low maintenance (except for a huge amount of issues we had with our newest model the truvis but got that cleared up and plenty of threads on that) we also have 2 HP latex printers they seem to be pretty reliable also...
we have a fuji, acuity UV and a roland LEJ uv. for whatever reason the fuji inks don't stick as good as the roland inks with coro.
we have big uv dryers we use for silk screening and with the acuity prints we sometimes have to run them through the uv dryers to give them better curing.
plenty of floor vinyl out there but if they are going to clear coat over the top it doesn't matter what vinyl you use at that point.
(on a concrete floor i would probably use a high tack vinyl)
i would be more concerned with how the clearcoat will react with the vinyl and ink.
the vinyl could...
we have a roland LEJ good machine for the price point. not built for speed and really the main downfall is friction fed so things can skew occasionally.
also 2 sided print can be a problem because of that. again for the price point good machine. ink sticks to pretty much anything
we have a truvis and was good for like 18 months then 5 months of issues our vendor and roland finally got everything resolved and we have been problem free for about 3 months now...knock wood. with that said we have 5 rolands including the truvis. in my opinion the truvis was just released...
yeah what they said. been using nazdar for over 40yrs also, mostly silk screen inks but the past 5 yrs or so also their digital inks. if you are going to use after market inks it's smart to go with a company that actually makes ink. they have always been good with service as well. no complaints...

we have done this with small text for office directories. it can be a pain but it does work.
weed all the big text but leave a box around that small line of text so you can weed it later. apply the app tape then flip it up and weed the small text....good luck
