not disputing that but how do you take/charge money for service (a guaranteed service) that you are not going to guarantee and not refund the money?
  2. UPS vs. FedEx?

we have found they have both gone down hill but FedEx has been more reliable over the past year and a half. ups got to a point that they told us next day deliveries were not guaranteed but yet they were still charging for them??????

  4. vinyl not sticking-silicone type coating?

lettered this van the other day and the surface on the box is really slick. had trouble getting the cut lettering to stick while pulling the application tape off but usually if you get it to stick it's ok and after a few days it bonds better. anyway two days later it's curling in some spots. i...

  6. Need Help Applying Heat to Glass

i normally just go with razor scrapers and elbow grease as mentioned already. i've done 4ft x 10ft window and no real issue. now i have seen some people use steamers and that has worked pretty good (at least in the video) maybe that's an option. not as high temp as using a heat gun or torch.
  7. TrueVis VG2-540

yes they should pull forward and come off. you have to push down on the clip and pull.
  8. Box Truck install question

found that pic online but that is how i do it obviously you would have to adjust for the truck you are doing or i do just climb on the roof (i'm 182lb and don't do any damage)
  9. Trailer graphics - old

the vinyl zapper works good but you have to be careful on the aluminum panels. if you go too heavy in an area it can remove the paint also...just a PSA
  10. Static Cling and Head Strikes

static cling has a tendency to to wrinkle for what ever reason so i pull some slack out on the roll as it's printing and that helps keep it flat as it goes through the printer

  15. What are you telling customers about shipping delays?

just tell them the truth but try to let them know when they place their order not after it's late. we are experiencing issues with many materials. some because of the shipping companies and some because the manufacturers are backed up and short staffed...good times
  16. What are you telling customers about shipping delays?

yeah UPS told us a couple weeks ago no guarantees on next day shipments but the good part is they will still charge you and take your money for next day deliveries :jr:
  17. Switched to TR2 inks and now have roller tracks now and not before

95% of the time the extra rollers aren't needed. at least that's been my experience. we have 5 rolands and i very rarely have an issue. if and when i do then i add the extra rollers
  18. Switched to TR2 inks and now have roller tracks now and not before

i only have that issue when i print/use the white ink. definitely check ink settings and or updates but one way to get out of it is only use the 2 end rollers, don't use the manual rollers you add on. i only use the add on rollers when it's something with a super critical cut but truthfully...
